Graduate Programme
The main topics of the summer school will be on key subjects in Business law and practice, Legal foundation, Criminal litigation and Civil litigation. The courses will also allow students to develop skills in case analysis and legal research, as well as gaining a firsthand experience in advocating. The programme enables the students to develop, enhances skills to prepare them for a career in Law and add value to their CV.
Crowned Summer Law School programme will consist of four lectures/workshops covering the main topics and guest lectures. Despite the heavy course schedule, students will also have a chance to share experiences in a less formal environment.
Classroom lectures will take place from Monday to Thursday in mornings and early afternoons. In addition, interactive workshops will enable students to discuss the topics presented during the lectures, thus providing a considerable contribution to the process of learning.
All students will be provided reading materials for each of the lectures, this will be distributed upon students' arrival enabling them to prepare for workshops and gain additional information on the topics addressed during the lectures.
In addition to the lectures and workshop, we want the students to get the best out of the event. The students will interact with individuals from the College of Law who are UK’s longest-established specialist provider of legal education. A career in law is very competitive – the students were able to meet and speak with professionals from one of the largest law firms. Summer Law School 2012 promises to be bigger and better.
